Quilted panels stand upright against both doors and take the claw marks and wet paw prints your door cards usually get. Fine black mesh windows keep the air moving and let you check on your dog from the driver's seat.

There is a flap pocket on the inner panel for a lead, treats and bags. The woven surface is water-repellent and wipes down with a damp cloth.

Will it fit my car?

The platform is 55 inches wide and the straps adjust to your headrest posts, so there's nothing model-specific to get right. It's built for the back bench of sedans, hatchbacks, wagons, the whole SUV range and crew-cab trucks: Corolla, Civic, Mazda3, RAV4, CR-V, Rogue, Forester, CX-5, Model Y, Wrangler, Outback, 4Runner, Grand Cherokee, Traverse, Highlander, Explorer.

How big is it?

Set up, the platform is 140 cm (55 in) wide and 113.5 cm (44.7 in) from the seat base to the front seatbacks. That length is in two sections: 54.5 cm (21.5 in) across the bench and 59 cm (23 in) bridging the footwell. The side panels stand 80 cm (31.5 in) tall and the rear panel is 47 cm (18.5 in).

What happens when it gets wet or muddy?

The woven surface is water repellent, so mud and wet fur sit on top of it instead of soaking in. Wipe it down with a damp cloth and it's ready for the next trip.

How do I clean it?

A damp cloth does it. Wet fur, mud and paw prints come off the woven surface without any special product, and the mesh panels brush clean.

Can a person still sit in the back?

Yes. Zips let the side panels collapse flat, so you can fold it down when you need the back seat for people and open it up again for the next trip.

What if I do not like it?

Email us within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund the item price in full. It doesn't have to be unused. Trying it with your dog is the entire point.

Anything that fails through a manufacturing defect is covered for a year.
